Dr. Susan Amat has long been involved in entrepreneurship education and has built numerous successful entertainment businesses. Through Venture Hive, she offers communities and organizations worldwide effective entrepreneurial ecosystems based on sound educational principles using k-12 programs, universities, and accelerators. Dr. Amat has both an MBA and a Ph.D. in Strategic Entrepreneurship. She has taught at the University of Miami and was the Miami-Dade County Public Schools STEM Board founding chairperson. Dr. Amat has consulted with the World Bank, the U.S. State Department, and the Kaufman Foundation. She was named a ‘Champion of Change’ at a White House ceremony in 2012.
A Real Estate Giant
Jackie Soffer is CEO and Co-Chairman of real estate development giant Turnberry Associates and she is married to Craig Robins. She’s in charge of the company’s hospitality, retail, and office divisions. This includes South Florida’s Aventura Mall, the area’s largest super-regional shopping center. A University of Colorado graduate, Soffer is a North Miami Museum of Contemporary Art board member and independent board director of the Washington Prime Group with 98 properties covering 53 million square feet in 23 states. A member of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach board, Soffer founded the community based arts initiative Turnberry for the Arts.

With a University of Vermont BA and a Harvard Business School MBA, Joanna Schwartz, the Co-Founder of EarlyShares.com, and commercial online real estate capital raising company Property.com, is an award-winning executive. For over 20 years she’s been an entrepreneur, advisor, and successful business leader. Schwartz founded and was managing director of small-balance commercial mortgage lender Silver Hill Financial which has over $1 billion in annual volume. She held leadership positions at several companies and was named Top Business Woman of the year by the South Florida Business Journal.
